Entourage was never my favorite show, but a few characters did stand out in my mind - namely for how terrible I thought they were. The three exceptions were Ari, Lloyd and my favorite, the eccentric director Billy Walsh.
Played by Rhys Coiro, Walsh was brilliant, but also absolutely insane. I really liked the range that Coiro brought to the character and wondered why I did not see the actor in more places.
Luckily for Coiro, I wonder that no more. The actor has landed a choice role on the upcoming (potentially last but the producers are back tracking off that in a hurry) season of Dexter, where he will be playing a bail jumper that is tracked down by Deb (Jennifer Carpenter).
This season is loading up with guest stars, as Charlotte Rampling and Sean Patrick Flanery are also attached. Rampling will play a psychologist who focuses on young psychopaths and Flanery as a private investigator.
It is unknown how many episodes Coiro will appear in, as he also has landed a role in CBS' Toni Collette pilot Hostages. He was seen last month on the network in A Gifted Man.
Dexter returns June 29 at 9 p.m. on Showtime.
