The hunky man who plays werewolf Alcide Herveaux from HBO’s True Blood, and the six-pack-baring shirtless male stripper in the film Magic Mike has decided to share his fitness secrets and tricks with the world in a new fitness book. Joe Manganiello is hoping to help his fans and readers achieve the “perfect body” and raise their overall quality of life through a fitness book he plans to release early in January 2014.
The book, which will be called “Joe Manganiello’s Evolution: The Cutting-Edge Guide to Breaking Down Mental Walls and Building the Body You’ve Always Wanted” will be a tell all book featuring Manganiello’s secrets and experiences, with research backing up his claims from the field of diet and exercise.
“I wasn’t born this way,” Manganiello says. “I was the kid in high school who couldn’t do one dip, one pull up ... I was also the kid who never gave up. Through years of blood, sweat, and tears, I cut through all of the myths surrounding every aspect of fitness and training.”
The book will include helpful step-by-step guides and workout routines alongside photographs. The exercises include everything from weights, to intense cardio to what to eat and when to eat it. Manganiello swears by a high-protein diet to help maintain his fit physique.
Will you be picking up Manganiello’s fitness book when it hits the shelves in 2014?
