After losing Sharon Osbourne and (potentially) Howie Mandel (in a move that did not happen, as he remained with the show), speculation ran rampant as to whom would sit next to the great Howard Stern as his fellow judges.
In February, former Spice Girl Mel B was revealed as the replacement for Osbourne in a move that was a bit of a surprise, as she was not listed as one of the candidates in any list I had seen.
That was not the end of the issue, however, as today word leaked out that the NBC summer reality competition would be adding a fourth judge. And that judge will be former supermodel/star of Project Runway (as both a host and a judge) Heidi Klum.
Klum will be officially announced to be the new judge tomorrow. In 2008, she was nominated for an Emmy award for her work on Lifetime's Project Runway, which she also executive produced. She also has hoted the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show a few times, as well as the MTV Europe Music Awards last year.
Osbourne left the show last year after she claimed NBC treated her son, Jack, unfairly on the competition series Stars Earn Stripes after they learned he had multiple sclerosis. NBC denied that claim.
This will be the first time America's Got Talent is judged by four judges.
