The DC crossover into The CW's "Arrow" continues next week, as Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) gets a new woman in his life.

Celina Jade ("The Man With The Iron Fists") guest stars in the next new episode as Shado, a character who has had a tumultous relationship with Queen's comic book counterpart. The actress spoke with TV Guide about her turn on the series and what viewers can expect to see.
On the small screen, Shado is the daughter of Queen's Purgatory sensei, held captive by the mercenary squad during Oliver's island stay. "She will team up with Slade and Oliver to get on the rescue mission to save her father and escape the island," Jade explained. "Somehow they have to come up with a way to leave the island."
Much like other familiar DC characters that have appeared on the popular CW series, Shado will hold some similarities with the character from the comics, but with many aspects tailored to fit the series. "First of all, she's not Japanese," Jade said. "In the comics, Shado was the daughter of the Yakuza. Here... she's a lawyer fighting to free her father from being banished to the island by the Chinese government."
Still, Jade insists viewers can expect the spirit of the character to endure on the small screen. "In the comics, her family value system is so high and it echoes Oliver's as well. He's basically going through all the names in his dad's book and going after the villains," she said. "Shado is an excellent martial artist. She's also trained in archery. We'll see more of that in upcoming episodes where she teaches Oliver a signature move."
During her stay with Queen and his compatriot Slade Wilson, expect to see Shado teach Oliver a thing or two about archery, the martial arts, and... well... "We'll see some romantic tension between the two," Jade says. "Because Shado is a lawyer, she reminds Oliver of Laurel [Katie Cassidy]. There's a good relationship there."
