One of the stars of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour is ready to get back to work.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, comedian Bill Engvall is returning to TBS, his home from 2007 to 2009. Engvall joins the cast of "Do It Yourself," the cable network's latest attempt at multicamera comedy.
The series revolves around Nick Porter, played by "Outsourced" star Ben Rappaport, a recently laid off math teacher who is forced into the blue collar world when he must take a customer service job at a home supply store. Engvall joins the cast as Dale, a former executive vice president with 30 years of experience with the ill-fated electronics chain Circuit City who is similarly cast into minimum wage purgatory when his own company goes bankrupt.
Rappaport and Engvall will co-star in the series along with Ryan McPartlin ("Chuck") and Melora Hardin ("The Office"). The series is written by Walt Becker ("Glory Daze") and Rob Long ("Sullivan and Son").
Engvall starred in his own sitcom effort at the network with "The Bill Engvall Show," (which featured Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence in an early role) where it garnered respectable numbers, debuting with 3.9 million viewers. Additionally, he has been featured in the popular "Blue Collar Comedy" features and television specials.
