Melissa McCarthy hosting 'SNL' again

In my opinion, Melissa McCarthy was one of the best Saturday Night Live hosts in some time. I know some people think she basically plays the same part in every role, but I love her willingness to do anything for a laugh. Besides, her work on "Bridesmaids" is not like what she does on Mike and Molly.

The actress will be heading back to Studio 8H, as she has been announced as the host for the April 6th edition of the comedy show.

She first hosted in October of 2011. Since then, she has headlined a $100 million plus film in "Identity Thief" that was basically sold as her doing zany stuff. She also will be appearing in The Hangover: Part II in May and The Heat with Sandra Bullock the following month.

She was ecstatic about learning she had been selected the first time around to host, saying, “I went into such an embarrassing, weird, inappropriately loud cry."

I expect nothing less than another home run from her this time. It would be awesome if Kristen Wiig showed up to appear with her friend, as well, but I will not be getting my hopes up. With or without Wiig, this is a must-watch episode.
