FOX won the night in the key demos, but CBS drew more total viewers, as is usually the case.
A 90-minute American Idol fell 8% from last week's two-hour broadcast. The bump to 9:30 actually seemed to help Glee. The musical/comedy rose nearly 50% in the demos from its last new outing.
The Big Bang Theory fell 4% for CBS, but still easily won its timeslot. Two and a Half Men matched its last new episode. Person Of Interest dropped 3%, but was up against nothing but re-runs at 9, so it easily won the slot regardless.
The relative lack of competition helped Community rise 25%, posting its best numbers since the season premiere. 1600 Penn continued to flounder, matching its series low of 0.9 for the third straight week. Ask not for whom the bell tolls 1600 Penn, for it tolls for thee.

1600 Penn is a great show - but, I don't see any light for it at the end of the tunnel...
