Fans of “All My Children” and “One Life to Live,” rejoice!
The old ABC serials will return with original episodes Monday, April 29, and they’re also free.
Production studio Prospect Park will stream the 30- minute episodes weekdays on Hulu. ITunes will also offer both shows.
“All My Children” production began Feb. 25, and shooting on “One Life to Live” will start March 18.
Both shows will be filmed in Stamford, Connecticut.
“I am so pleased that our dream of bringing these two series back to life is coming to fruition,” said Agnes Nixon, creative consultant for both programs, in a statement. “I am grateful to Prospect Park for their unwavering commitment to this project and to the amazingly talented casts of All My Children and One Life to Live – their devotion to these franchises has made this moment possible. And to the fans – well, we wouldn’t be here without you.”
Prospect Park tried to bring back canceled soaps “One Life to Live” and “All My Children” online in 2011. Talks fell through, and Prospect Park then signed deals with the actors and directors guilds to begin production on both shows in 2013’s first quarter.
