Are you ready for the return of John Stamos to network television?
If you said no, you should be ashamed of yourself. Uncle Jesse was a pivotal character in television history! Think of Jesse and the Rippers, for Pete’s sake!
Anyways, where was I? Ahh yes, Stamos' new NBC pilot. Titled I Am Victor, the pilot will be based on an upcoming novel by author Jo Nesbo and will feature Stamos as a high-powered divorce attorney named Victor Port who has some odd views on relationships.
Stamos will not be appearing alone, however, as Lorenza Izzo (who will star in the upcoming Netflix thriller Hemlock Grove) has landed her first starring role in a pilot. A native of Chile, Izzo will play Lena Engles, a Harvard Law grad who clerked at the Supreme Court but is now a assistant district attorney in Boston.. She is sarcastic, observant and on top of her game.
Other co-stars include Terry Kinney, Matthew Lillard and Megan Dodds.
The pilot is being written by Mark Goffman (The West Wing, Studio 60). He will be executive producing with Nesbo, Katie Jacobs, Daniel Rappaport, Meghan Lyvers and Niclas Salmonsson.
Izzo will also be appearing in Eli Roth's upcoming Green Inferno.
Will you be watching Stamos' comeback?
