The latest addition to the "America's Got Talent" judge's table, Heidi Klum, is having a blast in her new role. The supermodel and "Project Runway" host spoke with TV Guide about the NBC talent competition and what viewers can expect in the coming season.

Klum initially predicted that she would be a harsher judge of some of the talent given her reactions at home as a fan. But when face to face with the auditions, she explained, "I am softer when I'm right in front of these people than when I was judging from my couch. When I was at home, I was like, 'Oh, my God, that was horrible! Get off the stage!'
She continued, "I just want to be surprised. I love to be entertained. I'm not saying that I'm jaded, but I've seen a lot of things. So I feel like I can see a star when one is standing there."
Klum assures fans of her fashion series "Project Runway" have nothing to fear with her new duties as NBC judge. She stated, "I love Project Runway — it's my baby. As long as people want to see it, I want to put it on the air."
While the model feels it is too early to tell, she does not foresee any drama between herself and the other judges. She said, "People would probably love us to butt heads or for the girls' claws to come out, but I don't think that's going to happen with us. Sometimes we don't agree on things, but that's what makes it fun. But who knows? It was only Day 1!"
The new season of "America's Got Talent", with judges Howard Stern, Howie Mandel, Mel B, and Klum will debut on May 28th!
