Last weekend, Justin Timberlake hosted Saturday Night Live for the fifth time, joining the elusive Five Timers Club in a sketch on the NBC program. While critics seemed to enjoy this particular episode less than his other four appearances, it has done nothing to dissuade any other network from getting in bed with the entertainer, who seems to turn everything he touches into gold.
Next Tuesday (March 19) will mark the release of his third solo CD, "The 20/20 Experience." To mark the occasion, The CW will present an hour-long special to coincide with the CD dropping.
The special, called Target Presents the IHeartRadio Album Release Party With Justin Timberlake, will feature performances and interviews with the former NSync star.
The special will be taped March 18 at Los Angeles' El Rey Theatre during the album's release party. It will include a 30-minute radio special that tells the story of the making of the album. The special will also premiere Timberlake's newest music video, an eight-minute piece.
An encore of the special will air later the week on Friday, March 22 at 8 p.m.
This is part of the publicity for the album launch. He also is hosting Late Night With Jimmy Fallon this week as a guest host to continue to get the word out about the album.
