ABC’s new celebrity diving competition has gained a soccer star.

Soccer player Brandi Chastain will replace Chuy Bravo from “Chelsea Lately” on “Splash,” which debuts March 19.
Bravo will continue to be a part of the season, though he won’t be able to dive. He actually entered the competition unable to swim, though “Splash” trainer Greg Louganis has been working with him.
Chastain is a two- time Women’s World Cup champion and Olympic gold medalist. Basketball player Kareem Abdul- Jabbar, skier Rory Bushfield and Detroit Lion football player Ndamukong Suh are the other athletes competing. Comedian Louie Anderson, actor Drake Bell, “Baywatch” alum Nicole Eggert, “Cosby Show” star Keshia Knight Pulliam, reality star Kendra Wilkinson and celebrity girlfriend Katherine Webb round out the cast.
Webb gained fame during boyfriend A.J. McCarron’s national championship game appearance with Alabama, as commentator Brent Musburger couldn’t stop talking about her in the stands.
The 10 celebrity contestants will climb the 10- meter high dive, pair up for synchronized stunts and try different aquatic maneuvers in an effort to come out victorious.
A similar special on Fox, “Stars in Danger: The High Dive,” debuted Jan. 9 to a paltry 3.4 million viewers.
