A “CSI: Miami” alum is returning to CBS.

Adam Rodriguez will co- star in drama pilot “Reckless.” CBS TV Studios, which also produced “CSI: Miami,” will produce “Reckless.”
Rodriguez recently appeared in the film “Magic Mike.” He will next appear in “Lovesick.”
In the South Carolina- set “Reckless,” Jamie (played by Anna Wood) is a gorgeous Yankee litigator, and Roy (played by Cam Gigandet) is an attorney from the south. The two struggle to hide their attraction to each other while conflicting over a police sex scandal.
Rodriguez plays Preston, a police detective working on the Charleston Police Department along with Trey (played by Shawn Hatosy). Interestingly, Hatosy is also booked in “Southland,” so “Reckless” may be his Plan B.
“Reckless” is written by Dana Stevens. Ian Sanders and Kim Moses (“Ghost Whisperer” and “Profiler”) will executive produce with Stevens.
Wood has appeared in “Deception” and “Mad Men.” Gigandet has appeared in “Easy A,” “Never Back Down,” “Jack & Bobby” and “The O.C..”
Rodriguez isn’t the only “CSI” representative in a CBS pilot this year. Marg Helgenberger (“CSI: Crime Scene Investigation”) co- stars in “Intelligence.”
Rodriguez is represented by Global Artists and A Management.
