CBS won the night in both the key demos and total viewers. Which doesn't at all mean that the network had a great night. The Big Bang Theory dropped a full ratings point to a season low of 4.5. Two and a Half Men also fell six tenths. Elementary matched its last original. The only positive development was a very slight rise for Person of Interest.
FOX did no better, with American Idol falling six tenths to set an all time low for a regularly scheduled episode. Glee followed this up by dropping four tenths. ABC's only new offering was Grey's Anatomy, which fell half a ratings point to a series low.
NBC continued the bleeding. After last week's rise, Community fell to a new series low of 1.0. The Office also dropped a bit. Parks & Rec rose two tenths, in the only real bright spot. 1600 Penn posted yet another 1.0. Finally, the CW's Vampire Diaries fell two tenths. Beauty and the Beast matched its last new episode.
