I do not know about you, but when I think of Sleepy Hollow, actor John Cho does not jump to mind.
But it seems that might be changing. Cho, best known for his work in the Harold and Kumar films series, as well as his appearances in the American Pie series and Star Trek reboot, has landed a guest starring role in Fox's new drama pilot based on the classical novel.
The series will be set in modern times and will be a supernatural thriller (as you probably guessed). It will star British actor Tom Mison as Ichabod Crane. Cho's part will be Andy Dunn, a well-liked police officer in Sleepy Hollow who watches over Detective Abbie Archer (Shame's Nichole Beharie) and does what he can to assist her. However, as seems to be the case with every single character I have written about this pilot season, there is more to Dunn than meets the eye.
Orlando Jones and Katia Winter have also joined the cast. They will be playing a detective and Ichabod's wife...I will let you figure out which is which.
The pilot is being developed by Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, who produced and wrote Star Trek. They will be doing the same for this project, and Len Wiseman is attached to direct.
