If you were a gambling person, I would bet that Milton does not last too long on The Walking Dead from here on.
The actor who plays The Governor's assistant, Dallas Roberts, has landed a role on the revived CBS drama Unforgettable. Roberts, who also recurs on the network's The Good Wife, will play Eliot, a detective in charge of major cases that come across the desk at the New York Police Department. He is goal oriented and well connected, and wants to bring positive attention back to the department.
Unforgettable has also added James Laio and Tawny Cypress, who will join regular cast members Dylan Walsh and Jane Curtin, to name a few. The series has been had 13 episodes ordered for a summer run this year. The series was cancelled last May, but revived in June as CBS realized they had some holes to fill.
On The Good Wife, he plays Owen, the brother of Alicia (Julianna Margulies). He has also appeared on the series The L Word and Rubicon, as well as feature films The Grey and 3:10 to Yuma. He will be seen soon in Dallas Buyers Club.
And for the record, he is currently scheduled to continue recurring on The Walking Dead - for the time being.
