There is a sense of impermanence when celebrities get together. While sometimes they beat the odds and stay together for the long haul, it seems much more likely that they will eventually split than they will stick together into old age.
One relationship that seemed different was the marriage of Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman. It was heartbreaking to learn last October that they were separating. However, two months later, a ray of hope appeared as DeVito hinted to the press that a reconciliation might not be out of the question, saying that the two were working on their marriage.
Well, it looks like that work has paid off as the two have announced that they are giving it another go.
The couple has been married for 30 years after their 1982 marriage. They have three children together, two daughters and a son.
The couple appeared together on screen in the comedy series Taxi. While that series aired a long time ago, the couple has remained active in the entertainment scene. Currently DeVito is one of the stars of FX's hit series It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Perlman also famously appeared as a regular during Cheers' entire run.
Let's hope this story maintains its happy ending.
