Sarah Hyland “hearts” Lifetime.

The “Modern Family” actress will appear in Lifetime/ History’s miniseries “Bonnie & Clyde.”
Emile Hirsch (“Into the Wild”) will play Clyde Barrow, and Holliday Grainger (“The Borgias”) will play the woman the captivating armed robber sweeps off her feet.
Hyland plays Blanche Barrow, Clyde’s brother Buck’s (played by Lane Garrison) wife. William Hurt will play Frank Hamer, a Texas Ranger who tracked and killed the Depression- era outlaws, and Holly Hunter, who will play Bonnie’s mother Emma Parker.
“Smash” executive producers and Oscars producers Neil Meron and Craig Zadan will produce the first- ever Lifetime/ History co- airing project. Meron and Zadan are set up at Sony Pictures Television.
Hyland (who I’m shocked to learn is 22 years old), has also appeared on “Lipstick Jungle” and “One Life to Live.”
Hyland will also star in Lifetime’s original movie “Call Me Crazy” A Five Film” along with Jennifer Hudson. Much like the first breast cancer- themed installment, “Five” will have five short films, this time about mental illness. Jennifer Aniston is among the executive producer on the project, which is produced by Sony Pictures Television, Echo Films and Freestyle Picture Co.
Hyland is represented by WME, RK Management and Ginsburg Daniels.
