An actress who was injured on the set of a CBS drama says she would consider returning to the program.
Kristen Chenoweth had a near fatal accident on the set of “The Good Wife” eight months ago. She was struck by a piece of lighting equipment after a gust of wind on the show’s Brooklyn, New York, set. She was playing a political reporter on the series’ fourth season.
She is almost fully recovered, and told The Hollywood Reporter she is feeling “so much better.” She said she had a five- inch skull fracture that is now healed.
Chenowith will appear with Matthew Modine in dark comedy “Family Weekend,” which debuts in theaters March 29. Chenowith and Modine will play warring parents taken hostage by their three neglected children.
The Hollywood Reporter article also reported that Chenowith is dating, though she is coy about who. She has been linked to “Bachelor” alum Jake Pavelka.
Chenowith has done plays on and off Broadway like “Wicked” and “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown,” and appeared on TV series “GCB” recently. She won an Emmy in 2009 for her role on ABC’s “Pushing Daisies.”
