Sara Bareilles not returning to 'The Sing-Off'

“The Sing-off” is not immune to changes on its judges’ panel.

Sara Bareilles, who replaced Nicole Scherzinger, will not return to the a capella competition when it returns later this year, to instead focus on her musical endeavors.

Granny- nominated Bareilles joined Boys II Men’s Shawn Stockman and Ben Folds at the judges table in season three. It is unknown if Stockman, Folds or host Nick Lachey will return for the fourth season.

The singer- songwriter will embark on a month- long tour she is calling the Brave Enough Tour April 25.

“The X Factor,” “America’s Got Talent” and “The Voice” have also recently shaken up their judging panels. Heidi Klum and Mel B (aka Scary Spice) joined “America’s Got Talent,” and Shakira is now a judge on “The Voice.” L.A. Reid and Britney Spears have left “The X Factor,” and replacements should be forthcoming.

After more than a year off the air, NBC announced last month that it had renewed “The Sing- Off.” An open search begins April 27.

“The Sing- Off” is produced by One Three Media, Outlaw Entertainment and Sony TV, and exec produced by Mark Burnett, Deb Newmyer and Sam Weisman.
