Feast your eyes on yet another story about Charlie Sheen not playing nice with others – quite shocking, right? (No, not at all.) Sheen and his long-time manager Mark Burg have parted ways, again. There is no telling whether or not this separation will remain permanent, but if we base our assumptions on the history between the pair, I would say that they will be reconciling soon enough. If Burg and Sheen could find a way to work through Sheen’s famous meltdown in spring of 2011, I don’t think anything can tear them apart now.
Sheen and Burg both serve as executive producers on Sheen’s FX series Anger Management, which is currently only 40 episodes into its 100 episode order. If the two don’t work out one relationship, they will still have at least 60 episodes to go, and that is a lot of time to be hanging around one another. There have been no signs of the pair’s separation on the set of Anger Management this week, and other producers on the show have appeared to be blissfully unaware of the separation.
Burg has been the only main representative for hot-tempered and out-spoken Sheen, who has been without an agent for quite some time now. Burg has been managing Sheen’s career, which I can imagine is a full time job on its own, since the early 1990’s.
