15 TV Couples We Wish Were Real

TV couples are a huge part of our shows. We are constantly rooting for our favorite guy and girl to get together - and stay together. It’s even easy for the audience to fall head over heels in love with these couples. We love them so much that we wish they were real! Here are 15 TV couples we wish were actually getting snapped by the paparazzi.

1. Jim and Pam
Jim and Pam on The Office

The couple of all couples is Jim (John Krasinski) and Pam (Jenna Fischer) Halpert from “The Office.” When the comedy first aired, fans knew it was love at first sight for Jim and Pam. Not only are they extremely down to earth, but also praised for their love of practical jokes. For three seasons, fans rooted for Jam to officially get together, and thankfully, at the end of Season 3 our wish came true.

2. Luke and Lorelai
Luke and Lorelai on Gilmore Girls

Oh, Luke (Scott Patterson) and Lorelai (Lauren Graham). What can’t you say about these two? In between Luke’s angry outbursts and Lorelai’s fast talking, “Gilmore Girls” fans knew these two were meant to be. They definitely completed one another and was the “it” couple of Stars Hollow.

3. Piper and Leo
Piper and Leo on Charmed

This is one powerful duo. On “Charmed,” Piper (Holly Marie Combs) and Leo (Brian Krause) were not to be messed with, especially when it came to their love for another or their kids, Wyatt and Chris. As a witch and an angel/whitelighter, Piper and Leo were definitely a dynamic duo.

4. Ross and Rachel
Ross and Rachel on Friends

If you’re a “Friends” fan, then Ross (David Schwimmer) and Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) are obviously on your top TV couples list. These two had their ups and downs. After the whole “We were on a break!” thing, love conquered all and they finally reunited at the series end.

5. Eric and Tami
Eric and Tami on Friday Night Lights

These two are sometimes described as the favorite TV couple of all time. You might even say Eric (Kyle Chandler) and Tami (Connie Britton) Taylor of “Friday Night LIghts” had one of the strongest relationships throughout television history. That’s a pretty bold declaration, but their relationship as husband and wife was just so realistic. It’s also pretty great that the writers told them from day one that they would never break up.

6. Booth and Brennan
Booth and Brennan on Bones

They say opposites attract, and that’s surely the case for Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) on “Bones.” They see religion in different lights; they look at science and reality in different spectrums; one eats meat and one doesn’t; but that doesn’t meant these two weren’t destined for each other. Booth and Brennan can’t help but love one another.

7. Kurt and Blaine
Kurt and Blaine on Glee

On “Glee,” Gleeks were ecstatic when Kurt (Chris Colfer) first met Blaine (Darren Criss). As an out and proud gay, Kurt had his fair share of hard times and heartaches, so it was wonderful when these two became a couple. They truly complement each other. They might not be together at the moment, but that doesn’t mean Gleeks can’t root for Klaine!

8. Melinda and Jim
Melinda and Jim on Ghost Whisperer

Talk about a sickeningly sweet husband and wife. Melinda (Jennifer Love Hewitt) and Jim (David Conrad) were the perfect married couple on “Ghost Whisperer.” Jim never doubted Melinda’s abilities to talk with the dead, and he always encouraged her to embrace her gift. He was one great hubby, and Melinda was one loving wife.

9. Lois and Clark
Lois and Clark on Smallville

There are several actors and actresses who have portrayed Lois Lane and Clark Kent, but on this list it has to be Tom Welling and Erica Durance from “Smallville.” Not only do these two complement one another in the looks department, but also in the treating each other right department. Come on, Lois and Clark make one “super” duo.

10. Castle and Beckett
Beckett and Castle

Finally, Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Beckett (Stana Katic) are together. Hallelujah! “Castle” fans knew these two would eventually end up together, but it might have came as a shock when the writers put them together at the end of Season 4 aka extremely early in the series. Some might say this could destroy a show, but that hasn’t been the case, so far. Fans can’t get enough of the lovey-dovey couple.

11. Sydney and Vaughn
Sydney and Vaughn on Alias

They kind of were a real couple when the actors portraying Sydney and Vaughn on “Alias,” Jennifer Garner and Michael Vartan, dated in real life, but as you know that didn’t last. We’re not here to talk about that, but rather to focus on the badass duo of Sydney and Vaughn. As spies and agents for the U.S. government, if these two were a real couple their lives would never be boring.

12. Brooke and Julian
Brooke and Julian on One Tree Hill

“One Tree Hill’s” Brooke (Sophia Bush) sure had her fair share of bad relationships. Fans were given a glimmer of hope when she met Peyton’s (Hilarie Burton) ex-boyfriend Julian (Austin Nichols). Though it didn’t quite work out at first, before the series ended these two married and had twin boys. A family is something Brooke wanted throughout most of the series. Luckily, Julian came into her life.

13. Hanna and Caleb
Hanna and Caleb on Pretty Little Liars

If you’re a “Pretty Little Liars” fan, then you must adore Hanna (Ashley Benson) and Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) aka Haleb. These two are so darn cute. They have one of the stronger relationships on the teen thriller drama, and that’s the way it better stay. Both Hanna and Caleb have been extremely open with one another making their partnership binding.

14. Kristina and Adam
Adam and Kristina on Parenthood

The “Parenthood’ audience has always loved Kristina (Monica Potter) and Adam (Peter Krause), but after this past season that loved has soared through the roof. Adam was an amazing husband to Kristina as she battled breast cancer. Every episode pretty much made viewers cry, but what so heartwarming was how they kept their relationship alive and strong.

15. Caroline and Tyler
Caroline and Tyler on Vampire Diaries

Last, but certainly not least, are Caroline (Candice Accola) and Tyler (Michael Trevino) from “The Vampire Diaries.” In between bloody supernatural battles, these two have made sure their relationship has remained intact. Even though Tyler has currently been run out of town by Klaus (Joseph Morgan), Caroline’s eye hasn’t wandered: however, Klaus might like to change her mind.

How can any meaningful survey of great TV couples not even mention Rob and Laura Petrie and Lucy and Ricky Ricardo( They were in probably the greatest sitcoms of all time The Dick Van Dyke Show and I Love Lucy for those of you who have been living under a rock all these years.)

Wow(!), except for The Office, I have seen _None_ of these shows... Not a single one. Well, yes, a single one, but that's it! *** And I am quite a tv fan, as other TVRagers would be quick to testify... I suppose the couples listed simply belong to series which are ... well..., _well_ outside the genres that I watch, is the only way I can explain this (1/15) oddity. [Now, DCI John Luther and Alice, there's a power-couple!]
