Rosanna Arquette joins 'Ray Donovan'

AI am super stoked for Ray Donovan, the new Showtime drama that premieres later this year. Starring Liev Schreiber, the trailer for the show looks intense and I really think it could help cushion the blow the network will be experiencing later this year when (if) Dexter concludes as scheduled after its eighth season.

Now that series has upped the star power for its freshman season, adding Rosanna Arquette to a guest-starring role.

In the series, Liev plays Donovan, a "fixer" who makes things better for the rich and famous in Orange County. He struggles to balance his work/life demands, especially after his father Mickey (Jon Voight) unexpectedly gets out of prison.

Arquette's role in this little dance will be as Linda, a former starlet who becomes friends with Mickey. Arquette has been on a guest-starring tear, as she has appeared on Girls, Royal Pains and Private Practice recently. Not a bad little IMDB resume there.

Other series cast members include Paula Malcomson, Eddie Marsan, Dash Mihok, Katherine Moennig and Pooch Hall. Other announced guest stars include James Woods and Brooke Smith.

The series premieres June 30 after Dexter. Will you be watching? Do you think the show is going to be a big success or will it just end up being another show on the network that does not rise above the rest?
