Nope, you did not read that wrong. When One Life to Live makes its return, it is going to be packing a much different vibe in its opening credits. Prospect Park, alone with the help of The Online Network, are providing a new home for One Life to Live and All My Children on the world wide web and they have decided that along with its resurrection the show could also use a catchy new theme. In walks Snoop Lion.
Snoop, who has previously appeared on the series when it was on ABC, has developed a partnership with Prospect Park and The Online Network that will have him writing and producing the new theme song, aptly called “Brand New Start”. Snoop will appear on the track alongside Iza Lach and will also be appearing in several episodes of the serues when it returns. Snoop will be appearing as himself in the episodes, visiting Llanview to promote his new Indie film, “Reincarnated”.
"We're thrilled to have the support of such an iconic artist, like Snoop Lion," said Prospect Park CEO and Chairman, Jeff Kwatinetz. "To have him write and produce the theme song for this series and to have the amazingly talented Iza Lach on board, is just incredible. We are extremely grateful and excited for fans to hear the new theme song and of course catch Snoop Lion in upcoming episodes."
I am not sure how often One Life to Live’s viewers listen to Snoop Lion, but I have a hunch that it is not the number one played song on their iTunes lists. What do you think of the partnership between the series and Snoop?
