Your mileage may vary, but in my eyes this bit of news is no bueno.
There has been a lot of excitement around the internet around Girl Meets World, the sequel to cult classic Boy Meets World. Since Disney Channel announced that the series was going to happen. One by one, the stars of the original series were announced to be returning to the new program and hopes continued to rise.
So today's news that Jackee Harry would be joining the series likely does not ruin everyone's enthusiasm, but it definitely dims mine. Harry, who starred on Sister, Sister (which aired with Boy Meets World on ABC's TGIF comedy block in 1994) and 227, is an accomplished actress with a lot of experience in comedy sitcoms - she just really grinds on my nerves.
It is not known what Harry's role on the new show will be - what is known is that the series focuses on Riley (Rowan Blanchard), the 13-year-old daughter of Cory and Topanga (who will be played by original series stars Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel, respectively).
"Mr. Feeny" William Daniels, Sabrina Carpenter and Teo Halm will also appear in the new series, which is being executive produced by Michael Jacobs.
