TruTV announces three new series, five new pilots, two renewals -- sadly, no partridge in a pear tree

TruTV has announced of ton of news today, as the network has greenlit three new series, ordered five pilots and renewed two shows.

"We're using truTV's growing slate of comedic reality series to target an underserved audience we call funseekers," said Marc Juris, TruTV executive vice president and COO. "We've already caught the attention of funseekers with hit shows like Impractical Jokers and Killer Karaoke. Now we're ready to target them on a bigger scale, not only by creating more comedic reality series but also by giving them innovative opportunities to connect with their truTV favorites in the digital realm."

The new series are:

Panic Button, a "challenge show" which will feature bold contestants competing to see who is brave and who is scared (and thus forced to hit the button). Twelve episodes have been ordered.

Cash Dome Pawn, another pawn store series. Blah. Six episodes have been ordered.

Big Sam's Kentucky Auction (working title), an auction house series that will get six episodes.

The pilot orders:

Turbulence, a game show set on an airplane. Interesting.

Payback With Trevor Moore is a hidden camera prank show hosted by Moore, a member of the Whitest Kids You Know comedy group.Moore

Laugh Truck a game show that pits three friends against one another in the back of a moving truck. Moving on...

Cold Hard Catch, which looks at an ice-fishing resort and its owner, who is in operations for only 10 weekends a year.

Barnstormers, about men who bid on barns and then gut them. Okay...

The renewals:

Guinness World Records Gone Wild!, received a 10 episode order.

Upload With Shaquille O'Neal, a viral video/prank/parody show hosted by Shaq. Shaq

Any of these do anything for you?
