Glee

FOX won the demos, but in a rather embarrassing circumstance, CBS drew more total viewers. Why is losing to the most watched broadcast network an embarrassment for FOX? The Eye's line-up' was 100% re-runs.

A practically unopposed American Idol crashed and burned, dropping two tenths to a 3.0. The brand new Idol broadcast actually lost in both demos and total viewers to a Big Bang Theory re-run. Ouch. Glee fell three tenths to a 2.1, and was also vanquished by a BBT encore. ABC's Wife Swap continues to hover around a 1.5 demo.

Community rose a tenth to a 1.3 demo, but is still most likely a goner. Parks & Rec rose 13% to a 1.7. A second new P&R also drew a 1.7, which is a major increase from 1.1 that the Go On finale posted last week in the same slot. Hannibal dropped 18% to a 1.4 in week three, but is still a virtual lock to get renewed by NBC.

The Vampire Diaries dipped by around 20% for the CW, but remains one of the highest rated programs on the network. Beauty & The Beast matched its last new episode.

I can see how you might think that at a glance, but I'm not wrong. American Idol and Glee's combined average (coupled with the fact that FOX only programs from 8-10pm) puts it over CBS' demo numbers. The demos drawn by the Two and a Half Men and 2 Broke Girls repeats drag CBS' overall demo average down below FOX. As for total viewers, CBS is clearly ahead in that metric in almost every single timeslot. I hope that clears things up.

"FOX won the demos, but in a rather embarrassing circumstance, CBS drew more total viewers. "

Unless your numbers are wrong, that statement is completely backwords?
