Warehouse 13, which is returning to SyFy on April 29th for its fourth season, has added another bad guy to the mix and this time it is a seasoned veteran of the biz. Anthony Head has joined the drama and will guest-star in the final three episodes of the series’ fourth season.
Head, who is known well for his role as Giles on Buffy The Vampire Slayer, will be playing a mysterious new villain who goes by the name of Paracelsus. Head alluded to his guest role late in October of last year, but SyFy is keeping the details of his character and plot-line closely under wraps. Head will be joined by Polly Walker, Enrico Colantoni, Missy Pyle, Joel Grey, Nora Zehetner, Steve Valentine and Kelly Hu as new additions to this season.
This is not Head’s only upcoming role. It was announced back in March that Head had been chosen to star as the nation’s ruler, King Clarkson, in the CW’s Hunger Games inspired drama pilot The Selection set 300 years in the future. Some of his other recent credits include the ill-fated NBC show Free Agents and popular British fantasy-drama Merlin.
The returning episode of Warehouse 13, The Living and the Dead, will pick up on April 29th right where the midseason finale left off. If you just can't wait for it to air on TV, both Hulu and Syfy.com are also currently offering advance online screenings.
