New season finale date set for 'Happy Endings'

HE

ABC will be moving Happy Endings once again.

The comedy, which was preempted last week due to coverage of the Boston Marathon bombing, will see its previously scheduled episodes that were due to air on April 19 instead air this Friday, April 26.

The final two episodes of the shows third season are also impacted by this move. Those episodes, titled "Deuce Babylove 2: Electric Babydeuce" and "Brothas and Sisters," will instead air now on May 3 at 8 p.m.

It has been a roller coaster 2013 for the show already. In March, ABC moved the show from Tuesdays to Fridays, leading many to believe the show was on life support. Ratings for the show have ranged from a .6 rating in the adults 18-49 demo, to as high as 1.1 in the same demographic. Either way, not exactly numbers that give you a lot of hope for the shows future.

ABC has not made a decision about the show, but it seems its producers at Sony Pictures TV see the writing on the wall, as they have reached out to different cable networks about moving the show over if/when the ABC ax falls.

What do you think of the show? Is it worth fighting for? Would you follow it to cable?

It's so witty, smart, and full of current pop culture. The characters are hilarious. It's so far beyond all the other sitcoms, that are boring mostly. Keep it or put it on cable please! I'll watch it and those of you that haven't, you should really check them out from the beginning.

I like the show, but I wouldn't be devastated if they cancelled it.

There is too much moving this shows airtime and days. It is a great, funny and very entertaining show if the network would just keep it on its schedule. Most of the networks cancel shows that have a great fanbase just because of the stupid ratings. Take off some of the stupid reality shows and keep this one that people actually want to watch instead of idiotic shows like Splash....seriously...talk about a crappy show that doesn't even deserve airtime let alone ad sponsers!!!!!

As it is, this show will probibly be axed if measures arn't taken.

First they need to stop with the breaks between episodes and treat the viewers with some respect.

And secondly, they need to make more episodes pre season, minimum of 26 & up to 30 episodes should do.

But the breakes between the episodes, that has to stop.

(of course breaks like the current one are in good taste and appropriate & polite)
