FOX won Wednesday via American Idol, film at eleven.
American Idol's dominance continues despite a steadily downward ratings trajectory, with last night seeing a two tenths drop. Survivor managed to match last week for CBS. How To Live With Your Parents (For The Rest Of Your Life)'s streak of surprisingly good numbers ended, as the Sarah Chalke comedy dropped half a ratings point to a 1.5.
Still, the show has done well enough so far that if it recovers next week, it will remain a dark horse candidate for renewal. Dateline NBC rose a tenth. Law & Order: SVU returned after a few weeks off, rising two tenths to a 1.8. The CW had a good night, with Arrow and Supernatural both rising to 1.0 demos. These are easily the best numbers for either series in quite awhile.
