All My Children and One Life to Live are officially among the living once again today (at least in the entertainment industry). Both shows were brought back to life by producer Prospect Park. After much anticipation, they premiered in their new online format today on Hulu, with the first original show of each in this iteration hitting the streaming service.
New episodes will be released Monday-Thursday on Hulu, each at 30 minutes in length. The new shows will premiere at 5 a.m., for those of you that like to get up extra early to see some soap opera goodness. Fridays will feature recaps, as well as interviews with cast and crew and highlights from what has gone down and what is to come.
“I know it was a long wait,” AMC's Cady McClain (Dixie Cooney Martin) said of the show's return. “I know there have been a lot of ups and downs. I just want to assure the fans that it feels like another era of golden years for this show. It’s truly the best that All My Children is and can be again.”
The shows return comes almost four months to the day that Prospect Park announced they would return.
