Here comes our favorite brides and grooms. Are you ready to relive some of the best television weddings? These are just a few, out of the many, weddings that TV fanatics have fallen in love with over the years. Seeing our favorite characters tie the knot puts a warm spot in our hearts. Don’t pull a runaway bride - or groom - before checking out 17 characters that said “I do.”
1. Jim and Pam
Jim (John Krasinski) and Pam’s (Jenna Fischer) wedding is quite memorable, and fans can thank Jim’s brothers, Pam’s sister (Anna Camp) and the Dunder Mifflin gang for that. It doesn’t get better than when an entire church dances down the aisle to “Forever.” Jam were destined for one another, and it was one of the happiest moments on “The Office” when they said “I do.”
2. Nathan and Haley
Technically, Nathan (James Lafferty) and Haley (Bethany Joy Lenz) had two weddings on “One Tree Hill,” but their official wedding, or vow renewal, took place in Season 3. Fans were even allowed to take part in the wedding by voting on the song for their first dance. Gavin DeGraw’s “More Than Anyone” won. Yes, I remember that.
3. Monica and Chandler
Like a lot of television weddings, this one turned into sort of a mess. Of course, Chandler (Matthew Perry) gets cold feet the night before his wedding and disappears. Ross (David Schwimmer) tries to hunt him down, while Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow) and Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) distracts the bride, Monica (Courteney Cox). Fortunately, everything works out and the “Friends” audience see these two faves finally tie the knot.
4. Crosby and Jasmine
After many ups and downs, Crosby (Dax Shepard) and Jasmine (Joy Bryant) take the marriage plunge at the end of "Parenthood" Season 3. It isn’t just a memorable night for the newlyweds, but also for other Braverman members. Sarah (Lauren Graham) gets engaged to Mark (Jason Ritter), Drew (Miles Heizer) loses his V-Card, and Julia (Erika Christensen) and Joel (Sam Jaeger) bring Victor into their lives.
5. Joanie and Chachi
During the last season of “Happy Days,” fans could really tell Joanie (Erin Moran) loved Chachi (Scott Baio) when the two finally married. For years, Chachi chased Joanie, and she eventually caved into his romantic pursuits. Even though the two broke up, that didn’t stop fate from reuniting them into holy matrimony.
6. Zack and Kelly
It was a joyous day and occasion for “Saved by the Bell” fans when Zack Morris (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) and Kelly Kapowski (Tiffani Thiessen) said “I do.” Originally, the two plan to marry in Vegas, because of Zack’s dad’s disapproval. Per usual, Zack makes a mess out of the situation with help from Screech (Dustin Diamond) and Slater (Mario Lopez). After many shenanigans, Zack and Kelly have an official ceremony - thanks to their parents - and recite their vows in front their Bayside High friends and family.
7. Sam and Becky
This isn’t your typical wedding, but it’s pretty memorable. “Supernatural” fans were shocked to learn one of the Winchester’s would tie the knot. When it turned out to be Sam (Jared Padalecki) marrying Becky (Emily Perkins) fans were even more stunned. Sam doesn’t marry Becky willingly, but is put under a spell by her. The marriage is annulled by the end of the episode.
8. Robert and Amy
For years, the “Everybody Loves Raymond” audience rooted for Robert (Brad Garrett) to slip a ring on Amy’s (Monica Horan) finger. When the day came, fans sang joyful praises. Not only are these two great together, but they sure know how to make the most of a wedding dance.
9. Izzie and Alex
Talk about bawling at a wedding. Even though they aren’t together anymore, Izzie (Katherine Heigl) and Alex’s (Justin Chambers) nuptials pretty much made every "Grey's Anatomy" fan cry. Originally, Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) and Derek (Patrick Dempsey) were to marry, but after finding out Izzie could potentially die from cancer, Meredith turns over her wedding day to Izzie and Alex.
10. Carole and Burt
It’s always nice to see fun interjected into a wedding, and that’s exactly what happened on “Glee” at Burt (Mike O’Malley) and Carole’s (Romy Rosemont) wedding. Instead of the traditional wedding march, the William McKinley glee club danced and sang down the aisle to Bruno Mars’s “Marry You.”
11. Luke and Laura
This is the wedding of all weddings, especially for soap opera fans. The day Luke (Anthony Geary) and Laura (Genie Francis) married it was the wedding heard ‘round the world. It was extravagant - check out Laura’s veil - and the entire “General Hospital” gathered for the affair.
12. Ben and Leslie
Ben (Adam Scott) and Leslie (Amy Poehler) are married! As if we couldn’t love these two “Parks and Recreation” comedians even more. Wearing a “Project Runway” inspired dress designed from bills, newspapers and other Leslie Knope memorabilia, it turned out pretty well for a wedding put together in two hours.
13. Liz and Criss
You can’t mention Amy Poehler without Tina Fey. During “30 Rock’s” final season, Liz Lemon (Fey) and Criss Chross (James Marsden) walk down the aisle in quite the getup. Liz sports a Princess Leia outfit, while Criss wears a grill (for his teeth). The day wouldn’t be complete without a knuckle ring for the bride.
14. Kevin and Scotty
It doesn’t get more adorable than Kevin (Matthew Rhys) and Scotty (Luke Macfarlane). During the Season 2 finale of “Brothers & Sisters,” these two legalized their partnership with wedding bells. Despite all their troubles, these two were made for eachother.
15. Cory and Topanga
It always makes for a good episode when popular teen stars say “I do” on television. That’s exactly what happened when Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga (Danielle Fishel) made their high school romance legal on "Boy Meets World." I can’t wait to see how their marriage plays out during “Girl Meets World.”
16. David and Donna
Tori Spelling and Brian Austin Green fans applauded when their characters, Donna and David, tied the knot on the beloved drama “Beverly Hills, 90210.” There’s no better way to end a 10 year series.
17. Howard and Bernadette
Before Howard (Simon Helberg) went off to space with NASA on "The Big Bang Theory," he and Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) quickly married. It was a small event with Penny (Kaley Cuoco), Leonard (Johnny Galecki), Amy (Mayim Bialik), Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Raj (Kunal Nayyar) all officiating the ceremony.
