The beautiful Catherine Bell, known for her roles on 'JAG' and 'Army Wives,' will now be recurring on TNT's new series 'King & Maxwell.'
Bell, who was born in London, UK but moved to the USA at the age of two, has booked a multi-episode story arc on the upcoming drama from TNT which stars Rebecca Romijn and Jon Tenney. 'King & Maxwell' comes from Shane Brennan, executive producer of 'NCIS: LA,' and is about Sean King (Tenny) and Michelle Maxwell (Romijn), a unique pair of private investigators. What makes King & Maxwell unique? Well both are former Secret Service agents; their particular skill sets--and razor-sharp chemistry--gives them a leg up on the criminal element as well as local law enforcement.
On the new series, Bell will play a character named Joan Dillinger, ex-lover of Sean King (Tenney). When asked about the casting, executive producer Shane Brennan remarked "I’ve been a big fan of Catherine Bell for a long time, so it’s very exciting to have her on 'King & Maxwell.' Catherine has that perfect blend of strength, intelligence and beauty which makes her perfect for the role of the formidable Joan Dillinger."
Bell appeared on 'Army Wives' from 2007 through to 2013. She is also presently filming an upcoming feature film entitled 'Desert Storm.'
'King & Maxwell' will debut on TNT in June.
