nuvoTV has pulled off a bit of inspired hiring, as it has landed former Comedy Central and BBC America executive Bill Hilary to be its new head of programing. nuvoTV is an English-language channel that targets the Latino demographic.
Hilary will be in charge of all aspects of nuvoTV's programing, including development, production, acquisitions and scheduling. He will answer directly to Michael Schwimmer, the CEO of the company. He will not have to relocate from his home in Los Angeles for this position.
He is the first senior executive appointment under nuvoTV's expansion plans to grow and be a real player in the marketplace.

Jennifer Lopez and her production company, Nuyorican Productions, are also affiliated with nuvoTV (they are partners) and Hilary will work with her to develop new properties
