The National Rifle Association's favorite television personality, CNN's Piers Morgan, recently talked with starlet Lindsay Lohan as she prepared to enter rehab at the Betty Ford Clinic. The interview appeared in the United Kingdom's Event magazine and was very revealing about Lohan's demeanor.
"I don’t think there’s anything wrong with people taking time to just be by themselves," said the "actress" in discussing heading to rehab. "I think people want to see me do that. They will keep saying the same things about me if I don’t."
Boy, it sure sounds like she is taking this seriously, huh?
"Everyone thinks I’m this crazy drug addict who shows up late to everything and behaves so badly," she added. "But I’m not. I’m bad with timing."
However, she then went on to talk about her cocaine use.
"Everyone thinks I’ve done it so many times. But I’ve only done it maybe four or five times in my life. I’ve never taken heroin either, never injected myself with anything, never done LSD. Those things all scare me," she said.
When Morgan pushed Lohan on going to rehab, Lohan said that this time will be different and that she is committed.
"I can come back afterwards and be fully focused on work," she said. "But I think there are other things I could do instead of going to a rehab centre that would benefit me more. The best thing they could do for me would be to make me go abroad to different countries and work with children."
Fool me once...
The entire transcript can be read here. Given how well this interview went, it seems likely Morgan will land an on-air interview with her after rehab, don't you think?
