'Ravenswood' adds two

The new cast members.

Two new cast members have been added to Pretty Little Liars spinoff Ravenswood.

Brett Dier (L.A. Complex) and Elizabeth Whitson, a model, have joined the program, which will star Tyler Blackburn (who plays Caleb on Pretty Little Liars).

Dier will play Abel, an enigma with something serious hovering around him. He is slow to trust, but holds those loyal to him close...forever.

Whitson has landed the role of Olivia, who is Abel's twin sister. A former prom queen, she has fallen from that lofty position and learned that friends can abandon you in a heartbeat. She now questions her life and what she holds near and dear.

Both characters are scheduled to premiere in the Halloween episode of Pretty Little Liars.

The spinoff, which is also scheduled to air on ABC Family, tells the tale of a town near Rosewood, Pennsylvania, that has been cursed for generations. Five strangers stumble into learning they are connected to the curse and that they have to find out about it and the town's history before it is too late...dun dun dun.

Marlene King, Oliver Goldstick, Joseph Dougherty and Leslie Morgenstein are executive producing the spinoff.

Any interest in this? I am not in the target demo, but it sounds interesting…I guess.

I like the actor--I don't care for the character name: Abel. Anyway, Pretty Little Liars became a guilty pleasure of mine. So, I look forward to this new show with cautious optimism!
