Seth MacFarlane has hosted the Oscars and his shows fill up Fox’s Animation Domination, but his voice has never been on “The Simpsons,” until now.
The “Family Guy” and “American Dad” creator will guest voice “Ben” May 19 on the episode “Dangers on a Train.” Ben is a married man Marge Simpson gets to know at an online swingers site.
Here’s what Fox has to say about the episode: "In the first part of the season finale event, Homer (Dan Castellaneta), Moe (Hank Azaria), Lenny (Harry Shearer) and Carl (Azaria) win $200,000 in the Springfield Lottery. But when Carl takes off to Iceland — his homeland — with all the winnings, the guys embark on a Nordic adventure to get the cash back. Then, in the second part of the season finale episode, Marge mistakes a swinging Ashley Madison-type website for a Dolly Madison-type cupcake site, not realizing it's a destination for married people seeking liaisons. On the site, she meets the charming "Ben" (MacFarlane), who pursues her after they learn they share a love for a Downton Abbey-type TV series, Upton Rectory."
Lisa Lampanelli will also do a guest voice on “The Simpsons’” one-hour season 24 finale. This season has already featured Steve Carell, Tina Fey, Zooey Deschanel and Justin Bieber (he will appear this Sunday).
