A “Grey’s Anatomy” actress is going to have a nightmare-filled summer.
Camilla Luddington, who plays Dr. Jo Wilson on the ABC medical drama, will star in indie horror movie “The Pact II.”
Luddington will play lead June Abbott in the film. She is plagued by nightmares about Judas, a serial killer who it turns out she has a very close relationship with.
Ross Dinerstein is producing, and Juliana Cardarelli will be co-producing.
The film is set to begin filming in mid-June.
Patrick Fischler (“Californication”) and Scott Michael Foster (“Californication”) will also appear in the sequel. Fischler will play FBI profiler Greg Ballard and Foster will play June’s cop boyfriend Daniel Meyer.
The first “Pact” movie was directed by Nicholas McCarthy and came out in 2012.
Fischler is represented by Abrams Artists and Main Title, and Foster (“Zero Hour”) is repped by UTA and Consortium Entertainment.
Luddington was also on :Californication” for a time. She has done voice-over and body motion capture-work for Lara Croft in the most recent “Tomb Raider” video game. Her Dr. Jo Wilson character was tangled in an abusive relationship on one side of a love triangle.
Luddington is represented by UTA and Main Title.
