The upcoming season of ITV's "The X Factor" will see a major return for the talent competition for its tenth anniversary.
The network announced that Sharon Osbourne has signed on to return to the judges' table after a six year absence.
"I couldn't be happier about coming back for the 10th anniversary of X Factor," said Osbourne. "I can't wait to give Gary Barlow a big hug, sit next to the gorgeous Nicole, and of course throw water on dear Louis. Yay!"
The outspoken producer and wife of rock legend Ozzy Osbourne was one of the original judges on the popular talent competition series, pushing the big red X from 2004 through 2007 along with Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh. Osbourne recently vacated a similar position on NBC's "America's Got Talent" after a dispute with host network NBC. She will join "Take That"'s Gary Barlow, Nicole Scherzinger, and Walsh on the singing competition's landmark season.
Peter Fincham, director of television at ITV, said, "We're delighted to confirm our fantastic panel, who will bring an incredible combined wealth of experience to our 10th series of The X Factor. I know I speak for all of us when I say we're looking forward to bringing viewers a brilliant series this autumn."
