Two and a Half Men lost its mini-man at the end of last season, with Angus T. Jones not returning as a series regular. As I don’t think the show had any intention of changing its title to just “Two Men”, they were in need of a new character to fill Jones’ vacant spot. Instead of going with another strange and awkward man-child, the series has decided to resurrect a little bit of Charlie Harper – in the form of his long-lost daughter.
When the series returns for its eleventh season, fans will be introduced to the poor girl who was unfortunate enough to be the spawn of Charlie Harper, albeit, from a few decades ago. Charlie’s daughter, a young woman in her late teens or early 20’s, will waltz her way up to Walden Schmidt’s (Ashton Kucther) door to proclaim that she has come to look for daddy dearest. As I am sure you all predicted, she will end up moving in with Walden and her uncle Alan Harper (Jon Cryer), who will surely be looking for another young mind to ‘mold’ with the absence of his son.
The role of little lady Harper has yet to be cast, but CBS is actively looking for a young woman with the right look and attitude to fill the role. Who do you think would be a good pick?
