Steve Agee joins TBS' Diablo Cody talk show pilot

Agee

TBS' upcoming talk show pilot 'Me Time with Diablo Cody' just found themselves a sidekick: comedy writer and actor Steve Agee.

Agee, who's writing credits include hundreds of episodes of 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!,' will serve as a writer for 'Me Time with Diablo Cody,' as well as an on-screen personality. Agee frequently works with Sarah Silverman and her partner Jimmy Kimmel, writing for Kimmel's talk show and playing a lead character on Silverman's comedic series 'The Sarah Silverman Program.' Recently, Agee has been appearing in guest roles on various hit sitcoms, including roles on 'Happy Endings,' '2 Broke Girls,' 'The CodyLeague' and 'New Girl.'

'Me Time with Diablo Cody' is described as a take on Hollywood and celebrities tailored around Cody’s perspective on all things pop culture. Cody won an Academy Award for Best Writing, Original Screenplay in 2008 for her screenplay 'Juno.' Since that success, Cody has written for television with 'The United States of Tara,' as well as further feature films like 'Young Adult' and the upcoming 'Paradise.'

Agee also recently closed a deal to appear in 'Beef,' a webseries written by and starring Michael Ian Black and Joe Lo Truglio, with Chris Meloni also starring. Aside from 'Beef' and 'Me Time with Diablo Cody,' the busy Agee also has a role on NBC’s Craig Robinson comedy pilot, which remains a possibility to be picked up to series.

Will you be tuning in for 'Me Time with Diablo Cody?'
