It would appear that ITV made a smart decision in electing to move on from former X Factor U.K. judge Tulisa Contostavlos.
Contostavlos, who was replaced at the judge's panel by a returning Sharon Osbourne, has been arrested on suspicion of supplying class A drugs, per a report on ITV's website. I am not sure how their divorce was, but that had to be some dirt in the face to have the news leak on ITV's site.
The British pop star was taken into custody earlier today. There have been allegations in The Sun that she served as an intermediary in drug deals by linking a journalist up with an alleged supplier. According to the report, half an ounce of cocaine was sold as a direct result of that connection and the deal occurred at London's Dorchester Hotel.
ITV reported that Metropolitan Police were "considering" information after the article was published on Sunday.
Scotland Yard confirmed that a 24-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man were arrested "on suspicion of being concerned with the supply of class A drugs." Police is Britain not usually named subjects who have not been charged.
Contostavlos, who rose to fame with the group N-Dubz, made negative headlines last year as well when she admitted performing in a sex tape with ex-boyfriend DJ Justin Edwards.
