Jerry O’Connell has the chance to spend some quality time with his wife, Rebecca Romijn, but the pair won’t be getting any of this time alone. TNT’s King & Maxwell, in which O’Connell’s wife Romijn stars, has cast O’Connell in a guest role that will put the couples work relationship to the test. This is not the first time the couple have worked together on a television set, having previously paired up on the series Eastwick and NTSF:SD:SVU (short for National Terrorism Strike Force: San Diego: Sport Utility Vehicle).
King & Maxwell, which is set to premiere on June 10th at 10pm on TNT, will follow unconventional private investigators Sean King (Jon Tenney) and Michelle Maxwell (Romijn). The pair are former Secret Service agents who have a very unique skills set that allows them to remain one step ahead of both their suspects and the regular law enforcement. O’Connell will be playing a less-talented D.C. private investigator named Waskiewicz who is, to his frustration, always a few steps behind King & Maxwell. His business card reads “I don’t ask questions”, if that helps to give away a bit more of his personal character. O’Connell’s episode will air sometime in mid-July.
King & Maxwell, hailing from NCIS: LA creator Shane Brennan, is based off of a series of four bestselling books by author David Baldacci.
