Details revealed about the fourth season of 'The Walking Dead'
If you could not tell from the onslaught of 'Walking Dead' news around these parts, we kind of like the show. Maybe that is putting it too mildly - TVRage has a bad case of zombie infatuation.
Just this week we have told you what Norman Reedus (who plays Daryl) shared about the upcoming fourth season, and posted information about the third season's release on home video. If you are still behind on the last season and want to get caught up quick, there is no better place to look than Joel Thomas' excellent reviews of the show (even if you have seen the episodes, you should read them).
More information about the upcoming season leaked out today, as a new video was released that reveals that new series showrunner Scott Gimple is diving right into the deep end.
He has written the first episode of the new season, which is sweet music to the ears of fans, as Gimple was behind two of the best-received episodes so far in "Clear" and "Pretty Much Dead Already," each of which featured significant moments in the show's history that I will not spoil here.
Greg Nicotero, the Emmy Award-winning visual effects guru, will be directing that episode and says that it is "bigger than any script I've ever done before," adding that "[There's] new people coming in, some great character turns, great twists that will delight the fans."
October is when the fourth season premieres. Are you as excited as we are?
