For its fourth season, ABC Family's 'Pretty Little Liars' has signed a soap opera star to provide a guest appearance.
Kamar de los Reyes, who played Antonio Vega on 'One Life to Live,' will be coming to Rosewood, Pennsylvania.
He is going to play Dominic, a well-regarded swimming coach with a track record for getting the most out of his protégés - including Olympics appearances. He is scheduled to appear on the show in August in what is only a one-time deal at this point but could become more.
Seeing as Emily Fields (played by Shay Mitchell) has a background as a star swimmer, it seems very likely that de los Reyes will be acting opposite her.
In addition to his work on 'One Life to Live,' de los Reyes has also appeared in 'Law & Order: Criminal Intent,' 'ER,' 'Blue Bloods,' and 'Valley of the Dolls.' He also voiced the villain in the hit video game "Call of Duty: Black Ops II."
He joins Rumer Willis as high-profile guest stars on this season of 'Pretty Little Liars.'
Do you think this is a good casting decision? I am unfamiliar with de los Reyes’ work, but it seems like he definitely has the pedigree required for this role. Ultimately he spent more than a decade on 'One Life to Live,' so this apperance should be a piece of cake for the actor.
Pretty Little Liars airs at 8 p.m. Tuesdays on ABC Family.
