‘Everybody Loves Raymond’ was not among a list of shows I enjoyed watching when it was on television, there was something about Ray Romano’s character that rubbed me entirely the wrong way. On ‘Parenthood’, Romano plays employer and love interest to Sarah (co-star Lauren Graham) – and I could not love his character more. I was very happy to hear that after a sad parting in last season’s finale, the pair will have the opportunity to reconnect next season.
Romano has just closed a deal with NBC to return to the dramedy in the fall, where he will reportedly have a heavy prescence (as many as 12-15 episodes).
When Sarah finally broke things off for good with Mark (Jason Ritter), and chose Hank instead only to learn he was moving to Minnesota to be with his daughter, I was yelling at my television. There was something about Mark and Sarah that never seemed to fit right, and I think that Hank is her perfect match. Will Sarah be following Hank to his new home, or will Hank be coming back to town? I hope that the return of Romano next season signals a continuation of the love connection between the pair.
Are you happy to hear that Romano will be making a return appearance on ‘Parenthood’?
