Discovery Announces 'Warlocks Rising'

Warlock Patch

Discovery announces a new series, ‘Warlocks Rising,’ which will debut Friday, July 5th. The series will follow the motorcycle gang subculture, peering into lives of members of Florida’s Warlock Motorcycle Club. These showcased “one-percenters,” the element that battles with law enforcement, will make sacrifices to prove their loyalty to the club.

The current order is four hour-long episodes of the show. According to Discovery’s press release, “Each episode follows this group of bikers as they struggle to solve their personal problems while staying true to the Warlocks' 1% life.”

Devil's RideDiscovery already airs ‘The Devil’s Ride, ’ (to the left) a show that goes inside San Diego's biker gang the Laffing Devils. It is unclear whether ‘Warlocks’ will follow this same format.

This may also be a decision for Discovery based on the strong following of FX’s fictional biker show ‘Sons of Anarchy.’

13 Navy sailors founded the club in 1967. Aboard an eight-month deployment of the U.S.S. Attack Carrier Shangri-La, the sailors mused about their lives and about what they would do once they had completed their service. Being into motorcycles and partying, they formed the club, with one member creating the blazing phoenix patch. They returned home vowing to create a club chapter in each of their hometowns.

The Warlock motto according to their website states: “To find us… you must be good. To catch us… you must be fast. To beat us… you must be kidding!”

So is devils ride going to be back for season three,or did it finally reach its breaking point? Season one was "entertaining", but season two with gipsy missing, sandman going a-wall,and sin mob turned into a joke,"rockem-sockem" seriously?? Billy the kidd was a big bad leader then all of a sudden just a plain member, and snubz was v.p. then just to get ousted so easy, and what happened to all the laffing devils from season one that dissapeared?

Wow.. Clearly the person that left the comment abt all bikers are losers or alcoholics has never PERSONALLY met a member.. I have personally met quite a few when they were donating money for a little boy dying of cancer.. i wonder if this guy has donated his money and his time for such a cause. Not all bikers are losers or drunks , or every person in every night club in Orlando must be bikers!! These bikers, if he took the time to research before opening his mouth and leaving a comment( which just shows how uneducated he his) are bankers, airline pilots, firemen, managers, doctors , lawyers and business owners.... Yes there are some that drink do drugs etc.. They are people. Lawyers doctors bankers policeman teachers etc are alcoholics and drug users too Doesn't mean they all are!!!!.. I personally met several that don't drink ANY ALCOHOL AT ALL!! So I guess this person with his mentality or lack of, must mean all cops are on the take, all priests molest children, all Boy Scout leaders and school principals, councilors , coaches, and teachers molest school children too. Maybe he should be the first to watch this show.. Maybe it would OPEN UR MIND, before u go off looking like a wanna be bad guy. Must make him feel big to act like he's tough hiding behind a screen name making a comment. He has a right to his opinion, but at least research and know what ur talking about before saying something so stupid. It must have been hard on you having a mother that was a loser alcoholic by your own description,. My sympathies to you...

Sounds like a really interesting idea for a reality series...  40 years ago.  Talk abut a dinosaur subculture on the verge of extinction.  It'd take a better "man" than PETA to save these turkeys.  OPERA has more future.  If I wanted to waste my time on alcoholic, loser tough guys, I'd show up at my mother's for Sunday dinner.  If anyone discovers a quality show on this network, email me.
