'Breaking Bad' is returning for its final eight episodes on August 11, and those episodes promise to be some of the most exciting on television this year. Will Walter White (Bryan Cranston) escape his D.E.A. agent brother-in-law Hank Schrader (Dean Norris) or will his alternate identity as drug dealer Heisenberg fatally consume him?
It promises to be an action-packed final stretch that requires a suitably epic poster. The first eight episodes of season five received the regal "All Hail the King" treatment, with Walt sitting on the throne of his meth empire. The newly released poster for the second half of the season is much more ominous and brooding.
"REMEMBER MY NAME" Walt implores as he stands alone in the New Mexican desert, hands clenched into fists, a scowl on his face. It's a big turn from his massive monologue at the beginning of last year's "Say My Name." It maintains the same hubris, but there's desperation there, right down to the eerie green lens flare.
Is this the end for Walter White? What will be his legacy?
Breaking Bad returns for its final stretch of episodes August 11 at 9/8c on AMC.
