David Denman - best known for playing Pam’s (Jenna Fischer) ex-fiance Roy on the NBC comedy ‘The Office’ - is heading to ‘Parenthood,’ E! Online announced, and it looks like he might be stirring up some trouble with one of the drama’s favorite couples.
Denman will be recurring as the unemployed stay-at-home dad Ed, who meets Julia (Erika Christensen) at their children’s school, during their unfavorable volunteer job. According to E! Online, it seems Denman just might come between Julia and Joel (Sam Jaeger). Uh oh!
Didn’t the duo have enough trouble last season handling their newly adopted son, Victor (Xolo Mariduena)?
Joel and Julia shippers don’t only have to worry about Denman’s character, but also ‘Lost’ alum Sonya Walger’s. In a multi-episode arc, Walger will be portraying “the sexy and confident” Meredith, an architect working with Joel on a new project. Not only does she get close to Joel, but she’ll also make Julia feel embarrassed about being a stay-at-home mom. Will this push Julia into Ed's arms? Walger will first appear in the Season 5 premiere.
Raise your hand if you don’t like where Joel and Julia’s relationship might be heading.
The NBC drama seems to be recruiting all types of guest stars for the upcoming season, including Josh Stamberg, Ray Romano and Matt Lauria. The show keeps getting better and better.
‘Parenthood’ returns Thursday, Sept. 26 at 10 p.m. EST.
