After yesterday’s somewhat somber news that Cote de Pablo just didn’t want to do ‘NCIS’ anymore, here’s some more uplifting and romantic news for McGee (Sean Murray) fans. Everybody’s favorite MIT geek is officially getting a new woman in his life!
TVLine has just exclusively reported that Margo Harshman will play McGee’s new lady love named Delilah.
At Season’s 10 end, Delilah was briefly mentioned by McGee, and he looked pretty happy about it. Well, Harshman’s new character has the potential to recur and is described as “a smart and eccentric computer specialist in the cyber division at the Department of Defense.”
Not only will Delilah have scenes with McGee in the Season 11 premiere, but she’ll also appear alongside Abby (Pauley Perrette). As ‘NCIS’ boss Gary Glasberg told TVLine, “there is some terrific triangle stuff that goes on with Abby. It’s a lot of fun, and we’ll see what comes of it.”
Uh oh, it sounds like there might be some tension between McGee, his new girlfriend and his good friend/past lover Abby.
This isn’t the first time Harshman has been spotted on the small screen. Most recently, she popped up on ‘The Big Bang Theory’ as Sheldon’s (Jim Parsons) assistant, Alex. Also, she’s appeared on ‘Bent’ and ‘Modern Family.’ For those who remember ‘Even Stevens’ starring Shia LaBeouf as Louis Stevens, Harshman played Louis' best friend Tawny.
Are you excited to see McGee get a new gal this season?
'NCIS' Season 11 premieres Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 8 p.m.
