Margo Harshman Cast as McGee’s Girlfriend on ‘NCIS’

After yesterday’s somewhat somber news that Cote de Pablo just didn’t want to do ‘NCIS’ anymore, here’s some more uplifting and romantic news for McGee (Sean Murray) fans. Everybody’s favorite MIT geek is officially getting a new woman in his life!

TVLine has just exclusively reported that Margo Harshman will play McGee’s new lady love named Delilah.

At Season’s 10 end, Delilah was briefly mentioned by McGee, and he looked pretty happy about it. Well, Harshman’s new character has the potential to recur and is described as “a smart and eccentric computer specialist in the cyber division at the Department of Defense.”

Not only will Delilah have scenes with McGee in the Season 11 premiere, but she’ll also appear alongside Abby (Pauley Perrette). As ‘NCIS’ boss Gary Glasberg told TVLine, “there is some terrific triangle stuff that goes on with Abby. It’s a lot of fun, and we’ll see what comes of it.”

Uh oh, it sounds like there might be some tension between McGee, his new girlfriend and his good friend/past lover Abby.

This isn’t the first time Harshman has been spotted on the small screen. Most recently, she popped up on ‘The Big Bang Theory’ as Sheldon’s (Jim Parsons) assistant, Alex. Also, she’s appeared on ‘Bent’ and ‘Modern Family.’  For those who remember ‘Even Stevens’ starring Shia LaBeouf as Louis Stevens, Harshman played Louis' best friend Tawny.

Are you excited to see McGee get a new gal this season?

'NCIS' Season 11 premieres Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 8 p.m.

I feel the same way Loora. Yes McGee would look great in a silk suit working for the private sector and this girl would look great by his side. I do not know if NCIS will end just yet.Everyone on other sites seem to think it will only end if Gibbs leaves. I doubt it break the Law and Order record though because that was a different time.

I feel exactly as you do Loora.I for one would have liked to see McGee in a silk suit working for the private sector as his job when they left NCIS so yes it is possible. I for one will not be watching NCIS so I do not care when it ends or Bishop is.

@Loora: I don't think NCIS is scheduled to end, it's the biggest hit CBS has and they probably won't sacrifice that. I for one haven't heard anything about NCIS ending after this season.

I'm still sad that Cote de Pablo left NCIS. Her character is one of my alltime favorites. And McGee getting a "real" gf ... well, good for him. There's definately potential there, potential for another spin off maybe. Season 11 was going to be the last, wasn't it ? Or am I confusing that with another show long running show ending after the coming season ? I could definately see McGee carrying a spin off that plays in a more "techy" world.
